Healthy Teeth and Happy Smiles with Dental Health

Your family’s dental health has lifelong impacts. Bad teeth and dental habits can lead to costly dentist visits and poor health overall. However, brushing and flossing isn’t enough; you should be supplementing your teeth and gums with nutrients that help keep them mineralized and healthy. Dental Health supports teeth and gums for the entire family. The herbal micronutrients in this formula support a healthy smile and strong teeth, naturally helping with organic remineralization. Dental Health is safe to use for the whole family because it is free from fluoride and other harmful chemicals. This herbal blend is unique in using one of nature’s most useful herbs, Black Walnut.

Why Black Walnut is One of the Best Things You Can Use for Your Teeth

Black Walnut has long been praised for helping to support healthy teeth, which is why you will find Black Walnut in our Dental Health formula.* But what is a Black Walnut? The eastern black walnut is a species of deciduous tree in the walnut family, native to eastern North America. It grows mostly from southern Ontario, west to southeast South Dakota, south to Georgia, northern Florida and southwest to central Texas. Native Americans have used the bark, leaves, husk, and nuts for over a thousand years. Black Walnuts are considered a “superfood” and contain antioxidants and nutrients such as folate, melatonin, and phytosterols. Black Walnut can also be found in our products that support good bone health such as Bone & Body.*

Daily Support with Dental Health

A healthy dental routine should include brushing, flossing, rinsing, and a supportive dental supplement. Here is our recommended dental routine for optimal dental health. This should be done at least twice a day.

  • Step 1: Place 1-2 droppers of Dental Health in a small amount of water. Swish around your mouth and swallow.

  • Step 2: Floss between all of your teeth with a non-toxic floss that is covered with natural wax. Avoid floss that contains PFAS or Teflon chemicals. Supplement with a water flosser if you have had dental work.

  • Step 3: Using a natural toothpaste and bamboo toothbrush, brush your teeth and gums for at least 2 minutes. Don’t forget to scrub the tongue and gum line behind your teeth.

  • Step 4: Rinse with water or natural mouthwash.

How to Maintain Your Dental Health Before, During, and After Pregnancy

  • Make your dentist aware that you are pregnant. That way if there is any major dental work that needs to be done, it could possibly be postponed until after the delivery of your baby.

  • Keeping up with regular dental visits. Regular dental visits can help determine any issues. Because of pregnancy hormone changes, it puts pregnant women more at risk for periodontal disease and tender gums that bleed easily. This is called pregnancy gingivitis.

  • Good oral hygiene practice. When there’s morning sickness involved, and a toothbrush and toothpaste easily triggers your gag reflex, rinsing frequently with water can help cut down on acidity on the tooth enamel.

  • Be sure to share with your dentist the names and dosage of all medications or herbal supplements that you take.
